Greetings
potential adopters! If
you are interested in adopting a Golden Retriever from GRRCP,
please submit an application to us. A printable version is
available by clicking onto the "applications" link
located elsewhere on this page. Applications need to be sent via
mail and cannot be submitted through the Internet. We need to have
your application in hand so we can check references and do a home
visit before the match can be made with you and your new pet.
Applications sent without the $25 application fee will not be
processed. GRRCP is a small rescue, operated by only a handful of
volunteers who also have families, jobs and pets of their own.
Please be patient and you will get a response. Never hesitate to
contact us via email, but courteous emails are appreciated. Even
if no available dog photos are on the website, please go ahead and
submit an application. We most likely have Goldens who are seeking
their "forever homes" or will soon be getting some into
rescue. We will only discuss available Goldens with potential
adopters after the application has been received and approved. Any
Golden adopted from GRRCP has been neutered or spayed, updated on
needed vaccinations, and tested for Heartworm, Lyme Disease and
fecal worms with treatment provided if needed. If you have any

GRRCP requires a home visit for all applicants. We have Volunteers who
can do home visits in these counties: Centre, Clinton, Union, Snyder,
Lycoming, Montour, Blair, Bedford, Mifflin, Juniata, Huntingdon, and
Clearfield. Please do not apply if you do not live in one of those
counties.
